This Site is intended as a Information page to the annual Country Music Jamboree held each year at Nickle Lake Regional Park.

The 2008 Jamboree will be held on June 28th  and 29th.

Some of the events include

q   Concession on site – Chuck Wagon ( Mark & Chris Thorn)

q       Nickle Lake concession also available

q       Beverage gardens on site

q       R.C.M.P. on patrol

q       Security will be on site Friday, Saturday & Sunday

q       Weyburn Ambulance Service in attendance

q       Sound system supplied by GV Audio & Music Craft      

q        Burn-out competition Sunday.

q       Sunday – Show & Shine event from 11A.M. – 4 P.M.   Winners announced between 4 and 5 P.M.  $10.00 entry fee for cars, trucks & motorcycles. 

q       Nickle Lake Regional Park Board is hosting a Pancake breakfast on Sunday morning from 8 – 11 A.M.

q       Motor blowout , car donated and sponsored by Southside Auto Wreckers.

q       Children's Putting Green & Coconut throw will be held on Sunday – sponsored by the Regina Country Music Association

q       50/50 draws will be held every hour while the bands are playing on Saturday & Sunday.      

 

This annual event is aimed at being a fun-filled family orientated event where the entire family can come and enjoy themselves for the day, or two if they choose.  Camping is available at the lake and is usually filled to capacity well in advance of the week-end.   Other accommodations and camping sites w/ prices are available from the Southeast Unit Office.

All funds from this event will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.   The Canadian Cancer Society will use the funds to assist in funding cancer research projects in Canada and within the Province of Saskatchewan, for public education materials and to provide support for patient service programs.

Cost:$9.00 daily gate admission to the park.  If you have a Regional park pass this cost is not charged PLUS there is a $10.00 per person 12 years and older charge at the gate for each day – OR - $15.00 for the week-end.  These funds are charged by the Jamboree committee.
